8:30 'til Never by Charlie Morgan
from 8:30 'til 8:31
is Forever for someone.
and
then for some
8:31 begins Never.
Never: the road
with no forks in it.
and
soon the wayfarer
marks,
by broken branches,
her trek to Never.
and
it's then that
the road splits,
forks are seen
and choices made.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 03/03/05 at 03:01 PM I like how this poem reminds me of the phenomenon of time, sometimes moving fast, other times slow, including that single minute left before I must crawl out of bed to face a new day. :) |
Posted by Rusty C Arquette on 03/04/05 at 05:07 PM If Chaz was Frost this might be his 'The Road Not Taken'...I dig. Although, existing on this Moebius Strip as we do only gives us the illusion of choice (another creation of man, eh?). We were, we are, we will be; the form changes, but we go on forever!
