singing in the wind by Sam Roberts
From under the lamp post,
Amber floats and gravity fades
The world is alive.
Dancing in the wind
Birthing more from heavens vortex
Dying on thirsty skin.
The cold is always warmer under the light,
Waiting another frost, another fire
A last dance with the dragons breath.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 02/24/05 at 06:00 PM I think this is a beautiful poem, full of life in its descriptiveness. Maybe capitalize the first word in the third line to reflect the rest of the poem. Kudos! |
