the fish, his water is
dirty again. i haven't changed it
in 2 weeks, and the bowl is on the cusp of
half empty

as he creeps through his habitat,
slowly evaporating,
i'm hell bent on forgetting about it
until tomorrow;

if i can swim naked, then he can
swim in nothing-

a fact that would hold true
if i could swim.
