TOPIC: everything I need to know is in the telephone book by Mark Maxeywhere is that book? I got to find it…it has everything in it
from phone numbers of strangers I can call and prank
or doctors I can call and get appointments so I can go and sit
or for that lottery that I know I am going to win…I need a bank
tho I have to be honest…it’s a thrill each time I read my own name
it shows I am alive…I have a phone…and that people can call me too
go to bars…pass out numbers and hope for a call…its all in the game
and when I do find that one…I hope I don’t call a lawyer and have to sue
when I am hungry and too lazy to drive…all I got to do is look for delivery
pizza, pasta, hamburgers too…it’s all in the book…everything I need to know
and it’s time to call the heating and air man when I am cold and shivery
or when my car is lame and I just need to get a tow
everything I need to know is in the telephone book
so I keep it handy just in case
handy with magnifying glass for the closer look
for it is my life line and acts as the base

Posted by Kyle Anne Kish on 01/19/05 at 05:14 AM Mark, you make me sorry that my number is unlisted. :) "tho I have to be honest…it’s a thrill each time I read my own name
it shows I am alive…" <--- this line jumped out at me. I was drawn to it in someway I can't describe. Very entertaining read. ~~ Kyle Anne |
