Wisp of Winter

by Glenn Currier

This morning
winter is confident
in its gray coolness.
Its plaintive lyric
whistles wispy serenity.

I love that..."winter is confident" I can feel the winter's chill in this.

Sounds like the day here today - warmed up some after a cold and snow spell and was just all gray, drizzly and foggy. Nicely captured Glenn!

This succinct poem carries like an arctic chill and cuts right through my Tommy Bahama camp shirt. Good stuff, Glenn. Pe4ce...
