Frozen In Time

by J. P. Davies

never-to-be tear drops drift
serenely
from the sky;
prismatic diamonds,
a cool embrace
of fragile tea-cup blossoms.

pirouette winds
capture sterile petals;
striving, flushing,
stroking azure mornings,
with hints of flame.

This is steeped with imagry and beautifully phrased. Not to mention quite smoothed out, in terms of rhythym. Gorgeous.

I like the mood this evokes in me. Maybe because of the vocabular elements and arrangement, find it reads like a translation from Japanese. Quite dreamy. Kudos J!
