Remembering Your Kiss by Ken HarnischI would offer your kiss to the stars
If they would have it, in return for the
Heavenly light they shine on me.
I would recall its tenderness
In a poem, and let the world read
How, when dust has settled on
The years, I still remember it with
Clarity
I would ache to hold you once again
And this time let the movement of my lips
Undulate with the same sweet slowness as
Yours were on mine
I would take you forever in my arms,
As I do my words, and remember all
Of what our moment was
Quite vividly 01/01/2005 Posted on 01/01/2005 Copyright © 2024 Ken Harnisch
