Ali The Gator

by Charles E Minshall

Ali The Gator
Resides in the swamp,
So one must be careful
Of where one tromps.

Anywhere near the swamp,
Be wary of cautious clay,
The mud where Ali The Gator
Often waits for prey.

Modammud Ali the gator
Resides down near the swamp,
If ever you're down there
Be careful where you tromp.

Be especially wary
Of cautious clay,
The mud where Ali the gator
Often waits for prey

I totally agree w/ Lillian.. I think your poems would be excellent for a children's poetry book! I'm sure you could easily find those illustrators you mentioned in your spotlight :) This would be a great one to add!

Livin here near the Swamp you really do have to be cautious of the Gators! Funny and entertaining! Congrats on Spotlight!
