A Western Sequel

by Charles E Minshall

We're back again Ma'am,
Like I done said we would,
Our talks together
Have been mighty good.

When the ranch boss wasn't looking
We high tailed it out the gate,
When he catches up to us
We'll get a chore we're gonna hate.

You won't know ol' Slim
He's a changed man,
He's gone and turned himself
Into a dapper Dan.

Down at the general store
He bought pants and foo foo water,
He bought them both
From the owners daughter.

He sprinkled foo foo water
On his horse and saddle,
Of course the horse did'nt like it
So he did put up a battle.

I gotta tell you ol' Slims
On a cleaning streak,
Why! He's taking a bath
Almost every other week.

You won't again see that brand
He got d
own at Dawsons creek,
The new pants he bought
covers up that cheek.

Dang! There's the ranch boss
I gotta skedaddle,
I'll be back again soon,
For my horse and saddle.

Quite a tale, most as tall as sittin in the saddle!

You're pretty dapper yourself with this one!

Nice to see you're expanding your horizons Charlie with this and the sequel. Cheers!
