(Over and Under the Bridge) Now playing... by Rommel CruzIve been here many times...
A swirling symphony of sorrows
Caress my tortured soul
With vagrant memories
I long wished will stay forgotten
And forever lost
The blaring horns do nothing
But amplify
The cacophony of confusion
Each speeding taillight
So unceremoniously leaves
The seducing waters below
Murmur promises of inner peace
And self-understanding
That I have eternally desired
And been unjustly denied
Ive been here so many times...
That even the most fickle
Of solutions
Seems unquestionably tempting 12/22/2004 Author's Note: Even if the poem may suggest otherwise, no, I'm not suicidal and no, I do not advocate suicide as a means to "solve" one's problems.

Obviously you've given this poem your full attention and deepest thoughts. I especially like your effective use of alliteration in the second line. Good stuf!
