maybe this happens now. by Andrew S Adamsso many things fall around me
walls are slowly replaced with air;
posessions with rubble,
life with death. And throughout it,
there isnt much i can do to affect this
eternal change, other than to watch it
float by in a blissful moment where the
chaos actually occurs in a way that
destruction is a cascade of beautiful elements
coming together
if for only a moment,
to create the perfect motion picture
never caught on camera.
as the wind blows on this destruction,
evidence of the motives for the act
is sparse- there are very few answers
when you arent asking the right questions.
and, it helps to have a witness, but
this isnt nessecary for the natural progression
of life; just the progression of memory;
and these days,
cold and bright,
the sun creating warmth somewhere else,
we tend to forget. a lot. 12/16/2004 Posted on 12/17/2004 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
