::uncountable kisses::

by Bethany Lee

uncountable kisses,
layering your cheeks
from my bubbleloveoverflow.

you are the genuine gemstone
born from the center of my Soul.

on the floor, exploring
I gaze at you, adoring

the love of this new life
that lies in the ocean of your eyes
frees me from the “how?”s and “why?”s

frees me to embrace
this life given to me
in all its mysterious clarity.

an abundance…

the plentiful purpose of parenting
contents me.
so much so
to calm all waves
that reach my shore.

welcome to this world,
I am yours.

Vera -- ooh, ooh, I love poems about parenting, about how much you love a child, about what love a child can produce in you. I recommended this poem as a poem of the day. So good and heartwarming! LM

Parenting and true love. This is wonderful and exudes the marvel of it all. I love the word "bubbleloveoverflow". I enjoyed the easy rhyming here and there.
