Release by Ava BluInhaling pain inside this cloth
Saturated with dreams of joy
Can I just have a break?
Hoping to sleep
Needing to breathe
Exhaling your fumes as I lay on the floor
The bed is too much for me to believe
Too many memories
Found your escape inside the car
If I had your thoughts
--Guess Id be there too
Cant leave without hiding first
Someone is bound to seek me
(I tried to save you)
My better half
Now my worst memory
Didnt know it would be that easy
Given up
Lost to the euphoric gas
Exhaling pain inside this cloth
Soaked with nightmares of you
Couldnt you have just taken a break?
Begging to weep
Desperate to believe
Inhaling your death
As I die inside your car.
12/09/2004 Author's Note: This was inspired by a movie I saw last night. The movie is "Love Liza" and I suggest that you all go rent it. It just came out in 2002 and was not popular at all. One of those independent films, but well worth the effort to rent it. I know blockbuster carries it! =)

| Posted by Kyle Anne Kish on 12/09/04 at 09:03 PM Wow, Jeanna ... isn't it amazing where we can get our poetic inspiration from? This poem is so vivid and emotional that I wanted to cry. Now I'm going to try to find the movie to rent. Thanks for this. From the very first stanza I was sucked in and couldn't stop reading.
