Loving A Good Threesome

by Anne Engelen

I don’t think of her as a part of me

She definitely has a mind of her own

My mind is not a part of her

They’re like fire and ice

Then there’s the rest of me

Neither mind nor soul

I am a threesome

Together whole

clever girl, with that title I'll bet you lured a few people in for something they didn't get, he he. Very well thought out piece I can really relate to.

Would you care to make it a foursome? (wink!) - RCat

Oh yes, all those parts of us that make up a whole. I can't add anything to the others' comments, except to say I really like this poem. Good work!

Evocative reminder of how he each of us has multiple sides to the same personality. The title though playfully misleading in its leaning towards a sexual Threesome by including the word Loving. *wink*

Very true, we are a composite of emotions, logic and physical attributes. I enjoyed it Anne

This is a fantistic, self confident piece Anne, kudos for this one!

I think we all experience the many different sides to ourselves...excellent expression of just that.....well done

All of it, excellent. I can't add more than what other's have said, as much as I hate to merely ditto. I most enjoy the playful title.
