Impermanence

by Lisa Marie Brodsky

ItÂ’s so easy to write to you. Leaving notes
on the cluttered desk for you to find
Writing on the mirror after a shower
Love-fog
That disappears just before you see it.
And it does. It disappears before you see it.

I like the underlying message in your poem - "I have love, but I'm afraid to show it, because..." Beautiful, Lisa Marie. Its a feeling of wanting to let a feeling out, but only allowing it out with extreme caution. Good work!

Quite the innovative way of expressing your feelings...in reality and in the poem. Congrats on POTD. Well deserved!
