Frosted Diamonds

by Melissa Arel

Freshly fallen snow
glistens like frosted diamonds
to curious eyes.

Author's Note: I was watching my son look at the first snow of this year here in Connecticut (Nov. 12th) and I was in awe of his wonderment... to see such a beautiful and celestial thing for the very first time. It was a Kodak moment! :)

Beautiful Melissa. I remember first snowfalls. They were so exciting when I was young.
