Two, One, None by Shonda Creemer
- I had a dream...
- Two people falling
- Reaching for each
- A connection of hearts
- and I dreamt of you.
- I felt a need...
- To become one
- A beautiful union
- Inside and outside
- and I needed you.
- I found a love...
- So pure for an instant
- Loosing its hold
- Now bleeding to death
- and I loved you.
- I endured a loss...
- Where did you go?
- How did we get here?
- Here is nothing
- and I lost you.
- In the end there was...
- Small bits of us
- Yearning for hope
- Composed of blistering numbness
- and I miss you.
- But most of all there is...
- The dream born
- from a need
- given birth to
- our love dying
- in it's loss
- missing it all.
Two became One
now we are None.
And I cry.
