counting on us 11/04/2004 Author's Note: We just received the results today. This one earned second place. During the contest we had a fitting and exciting pause while our leader, Agnes Eva, gave birth to her baby girl.

| Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 11/04/04 at 05:50 PM I like the fact someone finally worked into a poem something overlooked, that instinctive hold babies will put on your finger when you give it to them. The third line nicely complements in a abstract way the concrete image of the first line. |
