foolishness

by Charlie Morgan

foolishness

would you ask a blind dog to fetch a stick?
then,
why would you look to me for your happiness?
so,
if you say you wanna race, and you ain't racin'
then
you don't wanna race.
so,
let's agree ... to not agree, and live unhappily
everafter.

Favorite line: "why would you look to me for your happiness?" except I like that first one too. I love it when you speak of dogs. They seem to tag along behind you and appear at the most unexpected time. On the other hand, those last two lines are good too. It takes a lot of love to live happily with the disagreeable. But then aren't we all... Good one, Chaz.
