why would you look to me for your happiness?

if you say you wanna race, and you ain't racin'

you don't wanna race.
so,
let's agree ... to not agree, and live unhappily

They seem to tag along behind you and appear at the most unexpected time. On the other hand, those last two lines are good too. It takes a lot of love to live happily with the disagreeable.
