(boy and the) corner.

by Andrew S Adams

i am the corner waiting for the boy
who isnt quite sure what he's done
we will commiserate. what have i
done to become a corner,
what has he done to get here?

on the streetcorner,
he sells himself for food
but what will this do for him?
walk all over me, what have i done?
walk all over me, this is what he's
done, my steadfast company.

he may not be aware, but this is what he's
done to me.

what have i done to him?

I like this. Really provokes thought and a lot of imagery. I love when you do that. :) good stuff!

Interesting...a different angle for sure.
