Buddha Belly

by Melissa Arel

I love tickling your tummy, that I can't deny
And hearing all your giggles that come from deep inside
If I rub your buddha belly, will I get some luck?
Maybe some money, a house, or a brand new pick-up truck!
Seeing your soft stomach jiggle with every smirk and chuckle
Would even cause Santa to laugh and loosen his belt buckle
Theres only two things that could possibly be better than this..
That is your hugging arms and your loving kiss! :)

Author's Note: Just something I jotted down after I put my son to bed.. I started thinking about how cute his belly is and I couldn't help but smile :)

This is beautiful, humorous but soft and so full of love. Yes, it reminds me of the laughing buddha, I have in so many postures scattered in every corner of my house. I must give you all five for this. haha
