She's a bit tipsy
but still feels loved
as she stumbles to your door
hoping for a night
of release under the sheets.
Baby's got a yearning
for something
she can't fill
with blankets or beer
or the sweet stench
of sweating bodies
intertwined.
Baby's dizzy
but feels that
any sort of high
is better than her hell.
So just save her for tonight.
Tomorrow she'll be
someone else.
But tonight
she's got a good buzz
and she's passed out
