While we sat under the starlit sky,
I looked into your eyes…
You smiled that sexy smile…

You whispered in my ear,
The things that I wanted to hear…
You held my hand so tight,
Everything in that moment, felt so right…

Your lips grazed mine…
It seemed to stop all forms of time
This was what I wanted…
I thought I had finally found it

W H A T H A P P E N E D

Where did I go wrong?
What mistakes did I make?
Were you lying to me all along?
I just want to know… what Happened?

It’s like I was just a “weekend fling”
An unwanted treasure…
Did I do something to set you off?
To make you turn around and leave?

So maybe we weren’t meant to be…
Or it just couldn’t work out,
But the least you could have done…
