am(i)am by Andrew S Adamsfalling and floating are subjective,
relative to the environment.
what am i doing here?
water drops drop water from the
ceiling in the sky, dripping drips
saline in nature, taste the salt
placed upon the wounds.
falling and floating are subjective,
based on who is doing the f----ing,
why they're doing it in the first place,
and if anyone can stop them.
raindrops:fall:
pudddles:float:
in both cases, i found that
i am decidedly without wings
and without liferaft 09/14/2004 Posted on 09/15/2004 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams

I felt like you might have held back from fully developing how you came to the conclusion that you were without wings, without liferaft. Overall a great poem. :) |
