Exit from the Rear

by Maureen Glaude

puddles in my duck boots
swishing down the bus aisle
to and from the eye doctor’s
in blinding rain and wind
rear end of Frances
I’d hate to see her front

LOL. I wonder, does having been to the eye doctor make you see better, or too much in this instance?

Very well put. One of my French teachers and her husband have a house just outside Fort Lauderdale, and fortunately it survived, this time Hurricane Frances.
