Un-Corked by Kate DemereeWhat happened to the laughter?
The pure joy of stringing words together
To form a thought
Describe a scene
Draw a picture
When did it change?
Why
There was satisfaction
In placing those small
Offerings upon the pristine page
Now
Now
Much thought has to be given
As to what am I saying
Why
How
Who am I saying it to?
Well Im through
Do you hear me????
Im done with thinking about what I am saying
And to who
I am saying it to you!!
Hello!
I am taking back my love of the word
If what I say offends or shocks you
So be it
It is speak and say what I have to
Saying a thing for the joy of saying it
Yes I have cried with you
Held you in my arms
And lain in yours
Made love with you
Fought with you
And everything in-between
And yes
.
I LOVE YOU
Seems that is the thing most people have trouble with
Now that is out of the way
.
Perhaps...
There is nothing I can not say~! 09/09/2004 Posted on 09/09/2004 Copyright © 2025 Kate Demeree
