aimless

by Andrew S Adams

so they say that,
this is your dream.
well, i say good. I am happy.

You've got this place to stare off to,
some place to close your eyes, and
this reality, ever bending, is a
place that you should evade,
if you've got the means.

and it's not a matter of simplicity
or a matter of complexity
or desire, or motivation, or
really any emotion-
there are some who can find you,
and those who can not.

We may all be able to see,
but can we exist where you are?

i am searching for you
when i close my eyes.
and, without your breath upon my neck,
i fear that i may have lost you into
that coma- that place of peace
from which your endless eternity is scrawled,
note paper of streams flowing forth-

and perhaps i shall read one day,
but for now i am grappling with my own pen
and wondering where you are-

as i am aimless.

"We may all be able to see,
but can we exist where you are?"

There is a lot of truth in this... great job :)
