so this may be the end, but this is not the end.
the words were said to cause pain, the images
erected to remind the writer that there is hope
elsewhere. but, as the hope is desparate, i too
worry that no legacy shall be left; however, perhaps
burning this to the ground is the best memorial.
for all of it, this ghost will haunt places deeper
than any person could inflict upon the souls.
so, for the dead, for the living, i erect this tombstone
this marker to the grave.
