Love Knocked On The Door.. by Melissa Arel
Love knocked on the door
And I let him in
He dropped his bags on the floor
They were filled to the brim
Love sat on the sofa
And gave me a smile
As though Love was planning
On staying a while
But the fire dimmed
And the passion faded
Love grew cold,
Bitter and irritated
For Love is reckless
Yes, Love's a flirt
He's got places to go
And people to hurt
