when your not here..

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

The sun is shining,

the wamth penetrates my skin,

but it might as well be raining,

when your not here.

I surrounded my friends,

wrapped up in the laughter,

but I still feel so lonely,

when you are not here.

The air feels so fresh,

the flowers are blooming,

they may as well be dying,

because you are not here.

This is really sweet, and who can't but relate to it in their own way?

this is heartfelt and simple. (although, the english major in me has to say that 'your' should be 'you're' in this case.)
