only an answer by Paganini Jones
the day she left
he threw out the typewriter
declaring
it wrote only lies
that truth
was too terrible
for its clacking keys
that anyhow
his Muse was just daydreams
that Tunisia
was dust and beggars
that the honeymoon
was over
the divorce
yet to begin
and
that
silence
was only an answer
