Nature, but more specifically an icon of the Canadian outdoors captured at its regal best.

Line 2 seems a bit too metaphorical for haiku, but the focus in on the loon's markings is a good sensitive place to start, as the description of the lake as silken is interesting. But I come away not too sure what the moment is saying about summer.
