my scar

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

There is a scar in my heart that bears your name,

I like to think of it like a beauty mark.

Simply wonderful! One of the best two line poems I've ever read.

When I read your most recent poem, as I often do, I wanted to glimpse at your other poems and I cane across this. As a hopless romabtic, this hot me like a freigt train at full steam. Adding this to my favorites and keep these coming. I shed a tear for thee!

That is superb. I'm a fan of things that say much with few words and this is a winner.

That "beauty mark" is a poetic gem. A little heart pendant with a tiny jewel is in order. A fine and unusual potd!
