Say – yes, when you want to say – No

by Ashok Sharda

SAY – yes,
When you want to say – NO
You can always add – YES,
I want to say –no!

No doesnÂ’t know
How to drill a bore
No amount of oration
Will find its goal.

Use your skull
In order to get into the other
Only a YES, the burglar
Is competent enough
To break open the door.

Simply walk in
And register your- NO.

Author's Note: Communication is an intricate thing. It’s difficult to penetrate any one’s skull with a NO. But there are positive ways of saying a no. Say, you are right before you utter your disagreement. The person will listen to you.

It's difficult to find argument with Yes, isn't it? *grinning*

Nicely reflects how confusing our world of positives and negatives can be.

Judicial poetry, Ashok. A welcome reminder to keep confirmation in our breast pocket, while checking ambiguity at the door. Pe4ce...

We have a Southern Saying here in America "You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar." Keeping doors open with a smile and gentility is an art when saying something negative. Great Read!
