The "Mont"

by Amy Wustrin

We're back in the diner again

One last time

And I'm watching the smoke

Rise up from your cigarette

A Marlboro Red

~Well, some things never change

And the smoke goes up and up and up

In circles and swirls and confusion

And I know how it feels

And the smoke keeps rising

But my eyes stop when they meet yours

There's that blue, that crystal clear blue

With the slightest hint of grey

For your less than happy moods

A color I always got lost in

I hope I can find my way out this time
