Outside is silent tonight by Sam Roberts
Just a designated smoking area,
Sitting on the porch with the door firmly shut behind me
I am just this dust on a petal,
And I am silent tonight because you are
The trees whisper what I fail to speak
They laugh, so I grimace
They dance around my silhouette.
And I leave tonight because you are
Left dancing around nothing05/23/2004 Posted on 05/23/2004 Copyright © 2025 Sam Roberts
