Don't Cry

by Cathlyn Cartier

It was an accident.
I don't know what happened,
but somehow I felt like I was sleeping.

I heard voices calling,
My spirit felt your prayers.
You wanted me to come back.
I tried, but it was too far,
I got lost and couldn't find the way.

I know you're sad and crying,
I miss you too...
but Jesus said it was time
for me to be with Him again.

We're here together, Jesus and me,
and so many others too...
They're helping me watch over you every single day.

I asked Jesus why so many are sad.
He said you weren't ready to let me go,
but He said He hears your prayers
and will take away your sorrow.

I love you all...
everything will be all right.
God had my room waiting
and when I miss you Jesus hugs me tight.

I had to leave you...
I didn't say good-bye,
because I know I'll be with you again,
in only a brief time.

*stopping to grieve with you* I'm so sorry for your loss. Your words here...I hope they are like a salve on so many wounds.

I'm sooo sorry Cath. I just can't seem to find the right words. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Simply beauiful, through the eyes of a child.(((HUGS))))

Poignant, rich in grief and comfort. Thank God for the Christian's hope! Andrew is with the Lord. Great comfort indeed!

Consoling piece, Cathlyn. I love the way you've written it as though spoken in Andrew's words from Heaven. Thoughts, concerns, and wishes from a trusting soul that sends the message of comfort, hope, and devotion. Very powerful. Pe4ce...

It is true, there is comfort in knowing you are held in His hands.
So sorry for your loss.
