Mother-dove

by Bethany Lee

i am a mother-dove,
teaching my littlebird
the Songs of Love.

weaving words of wisdom
into the tales i tell
as i tuck my toddler into bed,
cozy, safe and well.

a smile the last thing
to see
before the light goes out,
and they begin to Dream...

Very sweet Vera. Reminds me of when my mom used to tuck me in. Thanks for the memories!
