rome is burning. by Andrew S Adamsstacks of papers burn as the pillars of
rome slowly crumble under the pressure
of the titans getting up there in age.
they cant take a beating like they used to;
they cant walk upright.
can you imagine zeus with a cane?
deteriorating from dynasty and the
constant upkeep that kind of
city requires?
it would be a marvelous sight; god,
talking smack to zeus.
it's a game of king of the hill
played out on olympus.
when the gods and the titans
start to squabble, the cities are
left unattended, and often left to
their own rule.
the city was drowning in paperwork-
leaving it up to god's VP. he
wasn't the right man for the job.
because his paperwork didn't go through,
cities are falling left and right.
rome is burning-
and the gods are oblivious. 05/03/2004 Posted on 05/03/2004 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
