surreptitious love by William P StruckeI want to write a poem for you, engender with it magical calm... a message in print, the voice of my heart, the love I know when we touch
I need you to feel the joy in my breast though I will never show you my words, I want you to feel with one look in my eyes how you bring happiness into my life
your company is needed, desired by me I dream of your sweet smell, (your touch) I want to write something all but surreal, to reach through the stars to your heart.
Though I love you, somehow more each day, you can never know, I can never reveal the feelings that won't go away.
Through closed eyes I see each gesture you make as a turning point in your heart, but deep inside I know false hope isn't true~
once again, you're resigned to my dreams...
so goodnight my secret, goodnight my darling, goodnight my inspiration. I love you. 04/29/2004 Author's Note: though you may never know it.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 05/01/04 at 02:10 PM Quite touching in its expression, sad in its reality...a reality I'm sure we all have someone to fit the mold. Thanks for sharing this. |
