My PPS Comments Limerick

by Maureen Glaude

so you're sure your poem'll be hottest pick
for POTD among these site peers, sharp and slick
when along comes a pair of eyes so astute
they wonÂ’t accept anything just too cute
and it's back to digging in your bag of tricks

then you give in and change what they donÂ’t like
when another cries out, you had it just right!
Go figure how to please them, one and all
while answering the museÂ’s pressing call

Author's Note: but you've got to love them! Even your toughest commentors. sometimes they're your best friends. Just for fun, this limerick attempt

Yup. Gotta please yerself first, but don't totally dismiss the critics either. A well rounded reminder.

So, a conflict between 'muse’s pressing call' and 'change what they don’t like'. Its a balancing act resulting out of a two opposite reactions. A nice humorous attempt.
