haiku (ah spring)

by Ulyss Rubey

new grown leaves
green softness covers
hard branches.

fading wreaths
covers winters graves
pain remains.

campaign lies
in bad disguises
insult eyes

mountains high
seas and oceans wide
hide the war.

These are all superb, thought provoking to say the least. Reminds me I'm long overdue to write some haiku, or at least something approaching it. :o)

I like how you layered the series and started from nature, moving into parallels with human nature and what it needs to cover up. Well done.
