rinse, and repeat (revised) by Kalikala Smithput on your favorite shirt,
the one that shows
your tits
just the way you like them.
and remember to add
that extra cake/layer
of cover-up
so no one knows
the blemished face
underneath.
don't forget
the eyeliner
the blush
the rouge
the mascara
the eyeshadow.
squeeze into
those jeans that are
a size too small
but show the thong
peeking out in the back.
bat your eyelashes
flip your hair
lean over the bar
and make sure
your breasts are
uncovering themselves.
flirt with the boy
sitting next to you
on the right
and on the left.
and never refuse a free drink.
agree to dance shamelessly
with whatever boy
happens to show interest.
have your pseudo-sex
on the dance floor
and make sure to
be as horny-looking as possible.
agree to go home with the boy
that didn't buy you a drink
but stared at you
from across the room
(drooling)
and whispered "sweet nothings"
in your ear.
be coy
play hard to get
have sex with him anyways
and the next morning
don't think about the fact
that you never knew his name
or that you don't even know
where you are.
quietly gather your things
look at the man/boy
try to erase him from you mind.
walk home.
ponder why you are never
respected.
call up girlfriend
and ask what the plans are
for tonight.
04/21/2004 Author's Note: ***re-vamped... any suggestions?***
in progress... cynical view of girls at bars... something about how after all that fakeness they end up with sleazy guys, wonder why, and go and do it all over again
