Peg Board

by Leslie Ann Eisenberg

Unencumbered, covers
thrown to naked daylight
Destiny is in my
touch, like elevator buttons
I’m going up

Peek through the lace of
my life,
See the streaks strike through
holes a newborn hue, to
evanesce my rain drenched
soul and begin anew

This is delightful because each reader can see something else in it...your play of words for me is a seedling that grows in the sunshine, growing leaves reaching ever upward...lovely.

This seems like a journey on the evolutionary path renewing from moment to moment, charged by refined vibrations. This is so full of life.

Really like the choice/construction of poetics here; strong spiritualism throughout and willpower to start over as stated in the closure.
