Blinded

You've chosen to alienate yourself from me.
Maybe your eyes see things
that distort your vision
and your shallow mind
refuses to look below the surface.
Perhaps, unsettling words
have fallen upon your ears
and you choose not to be enlightened.
Nevertheless, your silence aggravates me
and your disappearance will always haunt me
