Topic: Relics Of An Abandoned Mind (Senryus)

by J. P. Davies

dusted cognitive
is floundering in spaces
where thoughts once prevailed

left unattended
fossilized inspirations
are coming to light

and it's useless now
to synapse with each other
when time has numbed both

In our singled mind
relics are abandoned here
lost, collecting dust

Refreshingly different...love the poetics. Left me with a strong feeling melloncoly (probably mispelled that), although I think that was your intention.
