industria.

by Andrew S Adams

in the industrial era
a largescale battle was fought
it was a war between environment
and industrial thought
the plants with their army in green,
the factories, with their army in brown,
the world was covered in a dense fog
for, neither side backed down.

but as the fight lingered on,
and the world awaited for it to end,
the plant and smokestack spoke,
sending messages on the wind.

the battle has raged up to this day,
with neither side giving way,
yet the army on the side of brown
is ready to crush the earth down-
subordinate it's lifesource,
won, with the ultimate force,
this battle is slipping into the hands
of the greed, for the green for the man.

in the industrial era,
a largescale battle was fought,
it was a battle to divide the earth,
the home which we've forgot.

the plant and smokestack spoke, sending messages on the wind. ....lots of good sounds in this piece. it has a hard edge, and rightly so.

a liquid flow and a wonderful delivery. a great vehicle to deliver the story.
