Fake It by J. P. DaviesThanks to you for waiting so long
To reveal your brash designs
One thousand clever expletives
said one thousand times
A clever horror story here
where this all ends in tears
to stain your pillow salted
with flesh remembered fears
I said I'd never hurt you,
those words now drip with ice
I have sadly not perfected
this new heart-break device
Just don't think I can make it,
I'll sew wounds shut and fake it.
