Recognition by Association by J. P. DaviesKnow me by association,
I am a reflection.
A peice of the puzzle,
that just squeaked in.
You know her, therefore,
you (of course) know me.
New Year's party, that's right.
Yah Mo and Jo, {stutter and smile}.
If you know me for me,
then I'm proud to be,
the one and only Jordan,
in your life.
But if I am just, "The Ex"
or that, "Guy who dated her."
Then my whole identity,
is just suspect.
Do you know me?
I just don't recognize you.
So I'll stand here,
in my suit and tie,
and smile because you know me.
Because of her. 02/06/2004 Author's Note: Another, "Hey I remember you. You were at the new years party last year. With Mo. Jo and Mo right?" Yes my name fits into that rhyme scheme nicely...
