In The Corner, Crying

by Cole Miller

Here is me
In the corner,
Crying.

Without the tears,
You'll never get
Them.

And without
The corner,
This room is
Round.

Just like this
Game we're
Playing.

i like this; short and bitter. i've met this feeling all too well in my time; and this seems to have the perfect form and pacing to make it sting all the more painfully. i can feel this. hope ya'are feeling better, cole. peace:a

neat mathematics in this poem. emotional ones. it says a lot in a kind of mysterious, layer by layer way
